Our Restaurant at Castlebay Hotel

Our chef, Mr Slawomir (Slawek) Pilarski, is building up a great reputation with visitors and locals alike with the aim of making Castlebay Restaurant the undisputed best place to eat on Barra. Slawek has been a chef in the USA, Germany, England and Poland. He has cooked for many famous people in the USA and he was a TV chef in his native Poland.

We serve food in either our dining room which can seat up to 60, or 100 for functions, or our Cocktail Bar. Lunch is served between 12 noon and 2 pm. Dinner is served in the season between 6 pm and 9 pm. In the winter, the dinner scedule is changed to 5.30 pm to 8 pm.

Slawek Pilarski, our Chef, has worked in top-class restaurants in the USA, Germany, Poland and England. He now applies his international expertise to the food served in the Castlebay Hotel and Bar.
