BARRA - BARRAIGH

The Isle of Barra has been called "The Jewel of the Hebrides" and this appelation is not far from apt. With its wonderful beaches, hilly interior, rough east coast, marvellous archaeology and wildlife, it does indeed encapsulate much of the Hebrides. Its small size makes it very accessible by foot, bike or car. A visit may be enjoyed at any season.
